So this blog really needs to be updated more often! Over the coming months it will be updated more regularly as I have an exciting project in the works.

I had been thinking about putting Objecty onto Kickstarter or Indiegogo for about 3-4 months now but never felt that the project was ready so continued to just plug away at the code. It is really hard to detach yourself from such a long term project and be rational! About 2 months ago I decided that the project had reached a stable enough point where I could start to dream up a fund raising scheme! As Kickstarter is a US only fund raising platform I chose Indiegogo!

In case you don’t know, Indiegogo is a place where anyone can start a fund raising campaign which gets support from the community of potential customers. It enables projects that would usually be deemed risky or not high enough profit to gain a form of investment to keep them going!

Every campaign needs a good video so this is what happened in my very busy month:

I wrote a script.

I did some ironing.

I built a set.

I bought a tripod.

I flew.

I LMFAO'd.

I looked serious for a minute.

I talked a lot.

I started a boned animator.

I kissed the blarney stone.

I started a level editor.

I demonstrated my acting abilities.

I did tons of video editing.

I played lots of Diablo 3.

I dressed like a pirate.

And finally I wrote this blog post!

A very busy month indeed! As you can see a lot has been done. I am nearly finished producing this campaign video, I have started some exciting parts with Objecty and on top of all that flew to Ireland and back, drank like a pirate and got to level 32 in Diablo!

I will be sure to spread the word once the Objecty campaign commences so keep watching out for it and get ready to support!
